সাধক দরবেশ হযরত শাহ্ জামাল (র:) এর পূণ্যস্মৃতি বিজড়িত নয়নাভিরাম সৌন্দর্যমন্ডিত গারো পাহাড়ের পাদদেশে যমুনা-ব্রহ্মপুত্র বিধৌত বাংলাদেশের ২০তম জেলা জামালপুর। আধুনিক প্রযুক্তির সেবা জনগণের দ্বার গোঁড়ায় পৌঁছে দেয়ার প্রয়াসে গণপ্রজাতন্ত্রী বাংলাদেশ সরকারের মাননীয় প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কার্যালয়ের একসেস টু ইনফরমেশন প্রোগ্রাম (A2I) এর আওতায় ৬৪টি জেলায় একসাথে জেলা পোর্টাল খোলার উদ্যোগ নেয়া হয়েছে। পোর্টালটি ব্যবহার করে জনসাধারণ অন লাইনের মাধ্যমে স্বচ্ছতা ও দ্রুততার সাথে জেলা প্রশাসনসহ জেলা ও উপজেলা পর্যায়ের সকল অফিসের সেবা গ্রহণ ও তথ্য সংগ্রহ করতে পারবেন । এ প্রেক্ষিতে আমি আমার সহকর্মীদের ধন্যবাদ জানাই যাদের আন্তরিক সহায়তায় জামালপুর জেলা পোর্টালের কার্যক্রম এগিয়ে যাচ্ছে । আমি জামালপুর জেলার অন্যান্য বিভাগকে ধন্যবাদ জানাই যারা প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্য দিয়ে সহায়তা করছেন। জেলা পোর্টালটি সময়ের সাথে সাথে সংস্কার এবং হালনাগাদ করা হবে।

Welcome to" Jamalpur Portal".
Jamalpur, the 20th district of Bangladesh, bears the holy reminiscence of the Saint Hazrat Shah Jamal (R), and is situated at the pedestal of Garo hill. The district is surrounded by captivating natural beauty and is constantly lapped by the river Jamuna and Brahmaputra. We hope to introduce you to this beautiful district with its various aspects through this ‘portal’. This is a part of an effort to carry the facilities of modern technology to the threshold of the people making our country a digital Bangladesh. Centrally, steps have been taken to introduce ‘district portals’ simultaneously in all the 64 districts of the country under ‘Access Two Information Programme’ (A2I) by the ‘Office of the Prime Minister’ of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Using the information provided by ‘the portal’, the people will be able to utilize the facilities available in all the offices under the district, including those of the district administration, with clarity and transparency.
In this connection, I want to express my thanks to all my colleagues by whose sincere cooperation the portal is in progression. I also offer my thanks to the other departments of the districts who have extended their help by providing valuable information. The portal will be modified and updated with the demand of the time.
